It's been awhile since I updated my journal, so I thought it was time.
I'm on summer vacation, attempting to find a job. There's no jobs in the small town I live in, and none of my friends have been successful either. It's just dead here, which is why so many people have been leaving the town over the past five years (I think we've lost about 1000-2000 people in what was a 13,000 person town, which is a lot). I'll be going back to school in middle August, and I'll also be coming back to a new job. I was hired as a Research Assistant for a graduate student for next school year. I'll be assisting her with her research on Red-Backed Salamander polymorphism.
I've been working a lot on my Ohio Nature blog (which you can read here: ohionature.blogspot.com/ ), and just haven't been taking many artistic photos, hence why my submissions have sort of just stopped. I just really haven't had a drive.
A few months ago I became a client at White House Custom Colour, a printing company, and last night I ordered a few prints to hopefully sell. It would be nice to make some extra cash.
Other than that, there's not really much new to talk about. Have a nice day!
